A delicious cut-out sugar cookie recipe that you will make every single time.
Course Snack
Servings 24 Yields

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2-1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Cream together butter and sugar.
  • Add vanilla and eggs, mix well.
  • Fold in the remaining dry ingredients of flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Roll out half of dough at a time 1/4 inch thick – use flour under dough and on dough during rolling.
  • Arrange cookies 2 inches apart on non-stick cookie sheet.
  • Bake 6-8 minutes at 375 degrees.
