Make Memories in Your Kitchen

This past week, we lost my grandmother who was two days short of turning 90. I was unprepared for how incredibly hard it was to hear that news, as well as think about all the old memories I have from spending time with her. I was hopeful though as I realized that while she wrote her obituary long before she passed away, I discovered that the same things she loved to do, are the same things I love to do: cooking for my family, gardening with my family, and testing new recipes.

She helped me learn how to make homemade bread and homemade pie. Two simple things that left lasting memories. In fact, these Mini Apple Pies are a favorite.

It definitely reminded me of why I do what I do – help others like you create memories in your kitchen through great meals, to help you enjoy cooking more through having the right tools, and sharing recipes with you that just might become a new favorite.
It’s just one more reason I love being a Pampered Chef consultant.

This holiday season, I hope you take time to spend time with your family in the kitchen and you get that satisfaction that comes through someone at the table saying, “Wow, this is really good!”. I hope you spend time with a loved one making pie, or kneading homemade bread dough.

Cooking is more than cooking, it’s love shared across the table. And you can look back on it time and time again.

I’ve added some resources for you on the website, be sure to check them out! Free e-books for all your tools. Stay tuned for more to be added.

Wishing each of you a month filled with memories in the kitchen.
